Lamb burgers in Greek style

Do you like burgers and love to experiment? Then the burger in the Greek style is the right choice for you. :)

Lamb burgers in Greek style


Preheat grill to medium temperature.
In a bowl, combine cucumber, yogurt, lemon juice, mint and garlic to make a tzatziki sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
In another bowl, combine lamb, onion, parsley and oregano. Add salt and pepper.
From the mixture, form small burger patties (about 15 pieces), approximately 2 cm thick.
Cook burger patties about 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until they are medium roast.
Halve hamburger buns and roast them on the grill until they become mildly dark.
Fill the buns with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, red onion, tomatoes and lamb burger patties.


1,5 kg of lamb
1 chopped onion
½ cup (120 g) of fresh parsley, finely chopped
4 teaspoons (60 g) of dried oregano
pure salt and fresh black pepper
1 fresh cucumber, peeled and grated
1 cup (250 ml) of yogurt
4 teaspoons (20 ml) of fresh lemon juice
4 teaspoons (20 g) of chopped fresh mint
1 clove of minced garlic
1 head of iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced
2 medium size tomatoes, sliced 
1 red onion, thinly sliced
